Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic medicine treatment which uses multiple injections into the mid layer of the skin where they can deliver the maximum benefit with Hyaluronic acid.

How Mesotherapy Works?

Firstly, the physical act of delivering an injection breaks the surface of the skin and disturbs the cells, triggering a healing response which includes cell renewal, collagen production, skin tightening and healing. By having multiple tiny injections roughly adding 0.1-0.2ml superficially into the epidermis the effect is spread, and the result is amplified.

Secondly, the effect of the actual agent injected then comes into play. Depending on the area being treated and the condition being tackled, doctors could utilise microscopic quantities of pharmaceuticals, vitamins and minerals. For skin rejuvenation, a hyaluronic acid might also be an option to retain moisture within the skin, creating a healthier glow.

Where you can have Mesotherapy?

They are a versatile and effective solution for skin concerns in the face, décolletage and hands.

Benefits of Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy can be used to treat aging skin and promote rejuvenation and bio-revitalisation. Subdermal vitamin injections stimulate skin cells, making them more active, and thereby increasing the production of collagen and elastin.

You can begin anti-aging treatments in your mid-twenties to prevent wrinkles from forming. Usually, maintenance treatments are recommended. Mesotherapy can be combined with PRP (plasma) for added benefits also. Mesotherapy can also be used to improve roughness and reducing the appearance of fine lines and other imperfections such as acne scars
